Sea Surveyor Schedule for the academic year 2000/2001

March 2000 Red Sea Program, North Red Sea and gulf of Aqaba. Under contract to IUI (Inter university institute) Eilat Israel. Availability upon request.
April 2000 Red Sea Program. Available for charter for 2 weeks on request.
May 2000 Red Sea Program. Available for charter for 2 weeks on request.
Departs Eilat June 18 Hydrographic work in deep waters, Indian Ocean/Arabian Sea The purpose of the voyage is to carry out a multi-disciplinary research in the Indian Ocean and Arabian sea. The scientific work is conducted by the IUI (interuniversity institute). The research program is diverse and teams of research workers will change at different ports.

arrival at Salalah port in Oman July 8th

Departs Salalah port July 10 Hydrographic work in deep water in The Arabian Sea offshore the Oman coast. Returns to Salalah for disembarking.
Departs Salalah July 12 for Seychelles. No research program has been scheduled on this leg as yet. Arrival Victoria in Seychelles July 22nd.
Departs Victoria July 24th Ichtiological Survey in Emirantes Group. Return to Victoria Aug 10 for group change.
Departs Victoria August 14 coral and reef research in inner islands and Emirantes group. Return to Victoria August 24 for disembarking.
Departs Victoria August 28 return voyage to Eilat. No research program is scheduled as yet. Arrival in Eilat September 12.
Sept. 2000 Red Sea Program. Available for charter for 2 weeks.
Oct. 2000 Red Sea Program. Available for charter for 2 weeks.
Nov. 2000 Indian Ocean/Arabian Sea. Under contract to IUI. Time Slots available upon request, subject to coordination with IUI.
Dec. 2000 Indian Ocean/Arabian Sea.  
Jan. 2001 Return to North Red Sea.
