Ship Specification and Schedule Updates

The web-form approach to collecting vessel specifications and cruise schedules has been replaced with a new mechanism. Too many entries were being logged in the web-forms that did not pertain to research vessels (too many bogus entries).

The new mechanism that we will use is to provide a downloadable Word document for the ship specifications and a downloadable Excel spreadsheet for cruise schedules.

Note to UNOLS vessel operators: This is NOT the Ship Condition Form. Please contact NSF for the appropriate link to the SCF.

Please click on one of the links below and save the attached file to your local hard drive:

• Ship Cruise Schedule Spreadsheet - Downloadable Excel spreadsheet to collect cruise schedule information.
• Ship Specification and Information Document - Downloadable Word document to update ship operating, physical, and equipment parameters and specifications.

Please download and populate the document and spreadsheet above and email the completed documents to us as attachments to info@oceandata.org. The data will be imported into the database, and an email will go out to confirm that the data was received and put online.
